We just finished this show. Wow! This woman is a fantastic performer. Everyone in the quintet was excellent, for that matter.

This was the second installment in Perspective 2’s Live Music Series and certainly did not disappoint!

Next up in the FINAL PERFORMANCE of the Michigan State University Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Eight current members, four alumni, and vocalist Sunny Wilkinson Live at P2! Show starts at 7PM on Thursday, March 31st.

Hilton Country’s next gig, as of today, is The Classic Pub in Lansing MI on May 28th. I expect we’ll be playing a few other spots before then.

Just talked to Tim. He’s doing much better and was happy to hear that The Pickin Parlor went well. I mentioned that in order to get into the role of Host, I carried around a clipboard all night and made sure to tell a couple of bad jokes. I think he’s still laughing.

(I’ll never forgot one good ol’ boy looking for milk for his coffee and being offered “vegan” soy creamer. Boy was he happy:) I’m sure “Wired” will have somethin’ more dairy-like for him)

Nice word paint here. I’m glad I too didn’t let what looked like a cold rain keep me from stopping by. In the end, a lovely sunset, fun concert and even met a few new folks.
